Miss Wormwood

Calvin's teacher (named after the apprentice devil in C.S. Lewis's The Screwtape Letters). Never

sympathetic to Calvin's difficulties in remaining in the classroom for even one class period at a time (whether physically or mentally), she is quick to send him to the principal's office at the first sign of trouble. In the Spaceman Spiff strips, she usually appears as an alien holding Calvin hostage.
As Stupendous Man, Calvin calls her The Crab Teacher.
